Internship Program for Foreign Students(PPEE)

The Internship Program for Foreign Students (PPEE) is aimed at university students and professionals interested in broadening their studies through professional internships in a wide range of institutions.

The program takes place in two periods, one from October to December (Fall) and the other from February to May (Spring). The minimum number of students per group is 5. Students will be accepted to participate in this program provided they have the approval of the Director’s Office and sign their commitment to completing the program on enrolment.

The Internship Program offers four options:

1.- INTERNSHIPS IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

[available for following courses Hispanic Studies, Spanish Language and Culture and Intensive Spanish Language] (Level 5 – Upper Intermediate and upwards)

To participate in “Educational Institutions” or “Health Centres” Internships it is essential to provide a “Criminal record and sexual offences certificate” of your country with NATIONAL validity and with the HAGUE APOSTILLE. In the case of the United States, this means that this certificate must be issued by the FBI.


2.- INTERNSHIPS IN HEALTH CENTRES

[available for Hispanic Studies Course, Intensive Spanish Language and Spanish Language and Culture Summer ]

3.- SERVICE LEARNING AND COMMUNITY

To participate in this Internship (in case of choosing a volunteer in the area of minors) it is essential to provide a “Criminal record and sexual offences certificate” of your country with NATIONAL validity and with the HAGUE APOSTILLE. In the case of the United States, this means that this certificate must be issued by the FBI.


4.- BUSINESS INTERNSHIP

[available for following courses Hispanic Studies, Intensive Spanish Language and Spanish Language and Culture Summer] (Level 7 – Upper Advanced and upwards) thanks to a Co-operation Agreement between Andalucía Emprende, Fundación Pública Andaluza and the Centro de Lenguas Modernas (CLM). General information of these internships.

To participate in these internships, non-English-speaking students must present a B2 English proficiency certificate.


5.- INTERNSHIP IN CULTURAL, TOURIST AND ARTISTIC ORGANISATIONS

The Internship Program for Foreign Students has the following structure:

  • Group seminar:10 hours.
  • Individual interviews with tutor: 2 interviews lasting 1 hour each.
  • Follow-up group seminar: 2 hours.
  • Internships: 45 hours / 120 hours.
  • Supervision at internship destination.
  • Written project.
  • Presentation and assessment of projects.
