  • Extending your stay in Spain

You will be required to provide your criminal and sexual offense records complete with the official seal of international recognition to verify its authenticity. This process can take anywhere from 4 – 16 weeks, it is recommended to start it as soon as possible, even if it is just in anticipation of possible interest in the future. Please ensure that you bring the original document(s) with you to Granada.

*In case of students coming from the USA, the Criminal and Sexual Offense Record is the FBI Identity History Summary. Once requested from the FBI’s official webpage (https://www.fbi.gov/services/cjis/identity-history-summary-checks), this document must be sent to Washington D.C. for the Hague Apostille Seal, which will serve as its international recognition.
